Boarding Terms and Conditions
Vaccination
-
Vaccination Requirement:
- All cats must have up-to-date vaccinations, with the latest jab given within 12 months before Check-In. Please provide an updated vaccine card at Check-In.
-
Minimum Interval:
- We accept cats at least seven days after each vaccine jab, allowing you to monitor for any side effects like fever.
-
Vaccine Effectiveness:
- Vaccines take three to 14 days to boost immunity. During this period, cats are more vulnerable to infections due to lower immunity.
-
Kitten Vaccination:
- Kittens (under four months) need at least two vaccine jabs before boarding. The second jab should be at least seven days before the boarding date. If proof is unavailable, consider keeping them in their room for their safety.
-
Senior Cats:
- For cats above ten years without a vaccine booster recommendation, provide a vet letter confirming their health for boarding.
-
Note on Boarding:
- Boarding places cats from different households in close proximity, and even fully vaccinated cats may still be at risk, especially if the vaccination cycle is incomplete or not boosted.

-
Preventive Measures:
- Catzonia is a pest-free hotel. All cats boarding must apply anti-fleas Spot On 30 days within their stay.
-
Application Options:
- Apply the treatment at home a minimum of THREE DAYS BEFORE Check-In (provide proof), or purchase it from us. Our staff can apply it during Check-In at your expense.
-
Consequences of Fleas:
- If fleas are detected during Check-In, owners must cover the cost of Anti-Flea Bath Treatment and Anti-Flea Spot On. This preventive action ensures other cats' safety.
-
Claims and Liability:
- If you claim to have applied the treatment or refuse it based on your cat's indoor status, and fleas are found during the stay or upon return home, Catzonia and its staff are not liable.
-
In-Stay Treatment:
- If fleas are discovered during the stay, your cat will be bathed, and anti-flea spot-on will be applied at your expense. You may also be responsible for other cats' spot-on bills.
-
Extended Stays:
- For stays exceeding 30 days, we will reapply the Spot-On monthly as a preventive measure, at your expense.
