Ruffwear Bark’n Boot Dog Socks

The Ruffwear Bark’n Boot Dog Socks (often called "Liners") are designed to match the sizing of their boot counterparts. Because dog paws are usually wider in the front than the back, the socks are sold in sets of four, but sized by paw width.

Size Chart

To find the right size, measure the widest part of your dog’s paw while they are standing (weight-bearing). If your dog is between sizes, it is usually best to size down for a snug fit that won't bunch up inside the boot.

Note: Ruffwear boots are sold in sizes like 1.50", 1.75", etc. The socks are designed to bridge these gaps (e.g., the Small sock fits both the 1.50" and 1.75" boot).

 

Quick Fitting Tips

• Measure all four paws: Many dogs have significantly larger front paws than back paws. If the difference is large, you might actually need two different sizes of socks/boots.

  
  

   

• The "Paper Test": Place your dog's paw on a piece of paper, lift the opposite paw so they put full weight down, and mark either side of the widest part of the paw. Measure the distance between the marks.
